HGV Class 1 Container Driver – Walsall, West Midlands

Drivers Today are recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Container Driversfor ongoing day work based in Walsall, West Midlands. This is a great opportunity for drivers looking for consistent container work with reliable hours and minimal handball.

The Role

  • Container deliveries and collections

  • Work involving ports, rail terminals and RDCs

  • Driving skeletal trailers

  • Minimal handball

  • Ongoing, steady day work

Typical container roles involve transporting containers to and from ports and customer sites, completing paperwork and ensuring load security.

Requirements

  • Minimum 12–24 months HGV Class 1 (C+E) experience

  • Container experience preferred

  • Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card

  • No more than 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)

  • Good understanding of driver hours and regulations

Pay & Benefits

  • £17.00 – £19.00 per hour

  • Weekly pay

  • PAYE or LTD drivers welcome

  • Immediate starts available
