Drivers Today is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 container drivers for regular, long-term work based in Walsall.

This is straightforward local container work with no dock runs, making it an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for regular work without long-distance or port-related duties.

The role

You will be completing local Class 1 container movements from the Walsall area. Drivers must be confident handling containers and completing all necessary vehicle and load checks.

Requirements

  • Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence

  • Valid Driver CPC

  • Digital tachograph card

  • Previous container-driving experience is essential

  • Two years’ Class 1 driving experience is preferred

  • A professional and reliable approach
